We offer new or used refrigerated storage containers for sale or hire, which operate on a 3 phase /415V electrical supply but 240V electricity supply units are also available. Normally, cold storage containers come fitted with a stainless steel interior and "T" section aluminium flooring which can be converted to suit your requirements ie: Flat aluminiun chequer plate flooring, butchers doors, IP65 vapour proof low temperature internal lighting with heated switchgear and internal release locks with man-trap alarms. ProvidIng close temperature control ( new reefers -30oC/+30oC, used reefers -25oC /+25oC ) for perishable goods, transportation or storage, the versatility of a reefer is endless. From hard frozen ice-cream to blood plasma to flowers, container refrigeration provides temperature sensitive produce with secure, reliably monitored temperature control. Climate controlled containers, chiller or freezer containers are hired or sold after undertaking and passing stringent diagnostic tests and thorough cleaning of interior and exterior.
Containers are 40ft and 20ft units as standard ( 10ft units are available ). A 20ft unit contains 28 cubic metres of usable capacity, while a 40ft unit contains 67 cubic metres. For pallets, a 20ft unit can take 8 "euro" pallets (1,200cm x 800cm) or 7 "metric" pallets (1,200cm x 1,000cm). A 40ft unit will accommodate 21 "euro" pallets or 18 "metric" pallets.
